Meet the Doctors

Dr. Jonathan D. Wong, DDS

Dr. Jonathan Wong  was born in Norfolk, Virginia where he attended public school.  He followed in his brothers’ footsteps in attending college at Virginia Tech and received his Dental Degree from the Medical College of Virginia, graduating in 1979.  Dr. Wong married his wife Ann while at Dental School and were blessed with the birth of their first child, Steven.  After graduating from Dental School he attended a General Practice Residency at Depaul Hospital and again were blessed with their second child, Stefanie.  Dr. Wong opened his Family Dental Practice in Virginia Beach in 1982.

Dr. Wong feels very strongly about giving back to the community through his association and support of the Church, the Chinese Community Association of Hampton Roads, and other local charitable organizations.  He loves college football and enjoys the struggles of playing golf.

Dr. Wong wants to thank his patients for being part of his Dental Family.  He values the trust and confidence they have given him and his staff for their care.  It makes coming to work a pleasure because we are able to help our patients maintain good dental health plus we get to have a visit with our extended family.

Dr. Stefanie W. Yung, DDS

Dr. Stefanie Yung was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  She attended The College of William and Mary, where she earned a B.S. in Biology and then attended the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and graduated Cum Laude.  During her time in dental school, she met her husband, Edwin, and they were married in July of 2008.  After spending a couple of years in Richmond, Dr. Stefanie and her husband moved back to the Hampton Roads area in the Spring of 2010.

Dr. Yung has a strong desire to care for her patients with sincerity and compassion.  Her approach to dentistry involves placing great importance on the education of oral health. Dr. Yung has participated in the Donated Dental Services program, Mission of Mercy Projects, and a Mission Trip to El Salvador to help those with dental needs.  During her time away from the office she enjoys spending time with her family, her dog Charley, friends, and loves being a part of Essential Church, here in Virginia Beach.

Dr. Yung feels that what is most rewarding as a dentist is building lasting relationships with her patients.
